Here we are, one month after Amiya’s surgery and eleven month’s after Amiya’s birth, trying to keep up with our son’s scooting around; following him as he makes a bee-line for the stairs for yet another free solo attempt up the stairs to the second floor in our house (I think he’s rated our stairs at a 5.11a.) It has been a trying experience, as new parents, to deal with Amiya’s surgery. However, it has been a lot more manageable thanks to all the help, meals and good wishes that we’ve received from our family and friends. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. (more…)

It’s hard to believe more than a month has passed since Amiya’s surgery. Life is returning to normal, although normal can be hard to guage with an eleven month old. Amiya is still a bit swollen, as you can see in the new March album I posted. It is interesting to see just how different his face looks. I think I am finally becoming more accustomed to his new look. (more…)
